Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This day is reserved for relaxation after your international flight and preparation for the unforgettable safari adventure ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Arusha town and beautiful views of Mount Meru. Overnight at a comfortable safari lodge or hotel in Arusha.

Tarangire National Park – Elephant Kingdom
After breakfast in Arusha, you will begin your safari adventure with a drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts large numbers of animals throughout the year. During your game drive, you will have excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and many colorful bird species. As you move south, you may encounter lions resting on kopjes, cheetahs scanning the plains, large elephant families, giraffes, and thousands of grazing animals spread across the savannah. After breakfast, you enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before continuing toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the journey, you will continue spotting wildlife while enjoying the changing scenery from endless plains to the beautiful green highlands of Ngorongoro. Upon arrival near the crater rim, you will have time to relax and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders. Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa and offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino. You will also encounter hippos, hyenas, flamingos, zebras, wildebeests, and many other wildlife species while exploring the crater floor surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Picnic lunch will be served near the hippo pool before you begin your drive back to Arusha in the afternoon. This marks the end of your unforgettable 6 Days Serengeti Migration Safari in Tanzania.
